Unit: Froedtert Bluemound Rehabilitation Hospital provides specialized inpatient rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, neurological conditions, complex medical needs, and orthopedic conditions. The hospital offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy in a supportive environment designed to help patients regain independence and prepare for returning home. Specialized units, advanced rehabilitation technology, private accessible rooms, therapy gyms, an outdoor mobility garden, adaptive living spaces, and on-site clinical services provide patients and families with comprehensive support throughout the recovery process.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient job description has incorporated essential functions which are adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
