Contract Length: 13 Weeks Contract Shift Timing: varied shifts rotating day/night
Responsibilities
Assess mental and physical status by observing behavior, mood, and vital signs. Administer psychotropic medications and watch for side effects or reactions. De-escalate and manage crisis or emergency behavioral situations safely. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team on patient treatment plans. Educate patients and families on coping skills, illness management, and medications. Maintain a safe, secure, and structured therapeutic environment. Record accurate, detailed notes on patient progress and behaviors.
Requirements
- Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
