About this role
This job provides diagnostic care according to departmental guidelines and standing orders under the direction of the physician. Enables the operations of the section, provides technical expertise with procedures, and serves as patient advocate. Maintains complete knowledge of pacemaker/ Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) follow-up care, cardio-beepers and pacemaker/ICD database systems, and Electrocardiogram (EKG) and interpretation. Provides quality reports for physician interpretation, dictation, and distribution.
