About this role
Role: Registered Nurse in Pre-Op and OPSU areas, providing independent and complex patient care while supporting long-term clinical goals.
Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments, monitor effects, and document patient information. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers. Make appropriate care assignments and delegate tasks to team members.
Qualifications & Skills
BSN preferred; 1+ year of relevant nursing experience preferred. Valid RN license in the state or a compact license. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications. Completion of organizational orientation and annual competency validations. Experience in perioperative or acute care settings is advantageous.
