About this role

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Registered Nurse OR for a Full Time, Day Shift position with weekend rotation. As a Registered Nurse OR, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn. You will evaluate patients prior to surgery, provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process, assume responsibility for patient preparation including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification, participate in surgical site verification protocols, recognize and respond to patient emergencies, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • 1 year experience required
  • On-call required during select non-business hours
  • Rotating weekends
