Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Jun 1, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience with the ability to circulate a wide range of surgical cases including ortho, ENT, and general surgery.
Details 13-week travel assignment in a hospital OR setting Facility has 58 licensed beds and 3 OR rooms Patient population includes bariatric, ENT, fractures, general, GYN, ortho, pediatric (ENT), podiatry, robotics, sports med, total hips, and urology cases — no neuro or cardiac Average caseload of 5–10 cases per day 10-hour day shifts with start times ranging from 0630–1100 depending on need Charting and equipment includes Epic, Alaris, and Pyxis Rotating on-call schedule required: weeknight call (Mon–Thu, once every 1–2 weeks) and weekend call (Fri–Mon starting at 0700, once every 4–6 weeks) Floating to Auburn facility may be required Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of OR experience required Must be able to circulate ortho, ENT, and general surgery cases Ability to scrub preferred but not required Pediatric OR experience strongly preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Two professional references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or equivalent) required prior to start — one reference accepted at time of consideration Additional Information Scrubs are provided by the facility First-time travelers will be considered, though prior travel experience is preferred Clinical interviewing conducted via SimpliFi platform
