About this role
BSC is seeking a part-time, per diem infusion RN to serve our patients in the South Bay area. We partner with several national and local Specialty Pharmacies to deliver a variety of medications, such as IVIg and other biologics, directly to patients' homes as well as in-suite in San Jose. As an infusion RN, you can utilize your IV skills and nursing expertise to provide the best quality care to our patients in the comfort of their homes.
The Infusion Nurse delivers medications provided by the specialty pharmacy. In addition to IV infusions, the RN may also provide subcutaneous infusions, Injections, Wound Care, CVAD, PICC, and IVAD care, education for self-administration and participate in drug trials. The majority of our infusion cases are long-term at regular intervals.
The per diem nurse will gradually build their own caseload of patients by accepting new referrals or transfers as well as provide coverage for other nurses as needed.
