Details
Work in the Women's Services unit of a 143-bed acute care hospital
Unit includes 3 LDR, 4 Triage, 2 Ante-partum, and 10 Postpartum/Gyn/Peds beds
Patient population includes maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
Patient ratios based on acuity
Uses Philips fetal monitors with OB TraceVue and MediTech EHR
12-hour shifts from 7p-7a
Scheduled for every 3rd weekend
No call requirements
Floating required
Requirements
Active RN license (NC or Compact) in hand
Current
certifications
ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
Minimum 2 years of RN experience with charge experience required
3 years of experience with charge preferred
Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn experience required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
Provide direct patient care across Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, and Gyn specialties
Report to the Director of The Birthing Place
Follow facility dress code with no specific scrub color requirement
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced local rate
Travelers cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
