Educational
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university (B. S. N. preferred)
- CPR certification

- Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing department
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services
- Monitor nursing activities and communicate any changes to staff and family members as needed
- Exhibit tact and respect when interacting with staff, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel
- Possess a thorough understanding of nursing and medical practices and procedures, including relevant state laws, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in the English language
