Care Team Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one support to students, assess concerns, and develop individualized support plans.
• Respond to student crises and collaborate with the Threat Assessment Team as appropriate.
• Monitor and track student cases, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow‑up.
• Coordinate referrals to university resources and community agencies.
• Manage electronic case systems including Maxient, Run4Success (EAB), and Podio.
• Prepare reports, data summaries, and policy recommendations based on trends.
• Support campus outreach, training, and education efforts—including SOAR, Welcome Week, and other major events.
• Assist with marketing materials and general communication for the CARE Team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work, public health, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in education or a related setting.
• Experience supporting crisis response within collaborative teams.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize information for recommendations.
• Familiarity with student tracking systems and database management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, counseling, social work, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a higher education setting.
