Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced *Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)* with *Scrub and Circulator* experience for a 13-week contract assignment at a Critical Access Hospital in Calais, Maine. The ideal candidate will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the perioperative process while working collaboratively with the surgical team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgery.
  • Perform both *scrub and circulating nurse* duties during surgical procedures.
  • Assist in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as needed.
  • Prepare the operating room, instruments, and surgical equipment.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team.
  • Accurately document patient care using the CPSI/Evident EMR system.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all hospital policies and procedures.

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
