The RN Rapid Response Team (RRT) will respond to all RRT's, Code Blues, Heart Alerts, Stroke Alerts, Sepsis alerts and any other patient care emergency. The RN RRT will perform surveillance by identifying the patients at risk for complications or becoming seriously ill by using proactive approach, making rounds frequently to collaborate with the bedside nurses as part of consultation without intimidating the bedside nurses. Consistent and routine presence of RN RRT will provide nurse's support, clinical knowledge and expertise to build trust and familiarity amongst each other.
The RN RRT should take the role of teacher both during and after the event in order to best help the inexperienced nurses. What qualifications you will need:
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN) Registered Nurse Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma No Travel Required 3 years experience Required Years of Experience Must have 3-5 years of recent experience in an ICU or an ER.
