Registered Nurse - Pre Admission Testing Job Description Overview Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). This position is also referral eligible. Shift: 4- 8 hr shifts, M- F, 830-5pm / 9am-530pm. This position requires 1+ years of clinical RN experience. This is a referral eligible position! The RN in this role will have a strong clinical background with excellent critical thinking skills. This unit has a small staff of nurses that are flexible in their roles and work with the providers to prepare patients for surgeries and procedures. This position requires clinic visits, as well as triage phone coverage. This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and time management skills. Why Join IU Health? The more you participate, the more you earn. Qualifications: Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
