About this role

Registered Nurse position in the Progressive Care Unit (Telemetry Unit-3W-Advanced Cardiac Care) at HonorHealth Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. Night shift. The RN records patient medical history, performs diagnostic tests, operates medical equipment, administers treatments and medications, manages IV lines, establishes and contributes to care plans, teaches patients and families, and provides direction to LPNs and nursing aides. The RN precepts new hire staff and students. All RN staff responsible for stroke patient care must have knowledge of stroke symptoms, protocols, NIHSS, stroke alert activation, and stroke quality indicators. Sign on bonus available. New grads may apply.

Requirements

  • RN License - Arizona or Compact State Licensure (required upon hire)
  • BLS Certification (required)
  • Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing (required prior to start)
  • BSN within 60 months of hire OR 5+ years RN experience at time of hire (required for ADN/Diploma hires)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
  • 1 year RN experience for Float Positions (required)
  • >10 months med-surg or acute specialty setting (preferred)
  • Night shift availability
