Compensation Range: $31.85 - $64.75. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Responsibilities

Administers chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under the direction and supervision of a physician Assesses and monitors therapy of patients using appropriate technical skills under the direction and supervision of a physician Assesses patients for changes in condition, including but not limited to abnormal labs, x-rays, scans and drug reactions. Initiates appropriate action. Performs venipuncture, accesses implanted ports and maintains central venous access devices and alternate delivering systems Maintains efficient and appropriate patient flow Phone triage as assigned Documents all elements of care Serves as a resource to the Medical Assistants Communicates all pertinent information and any interventions to the physician or advanced practice provider Assesses patient and family needs

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education required; BSN preferred Oncology experience strongly preferred Current RN state license required Current BCLS certification required OCN certification preferred Must be willing to travel between offices as needed
