We are looking for an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality patient care in a hospital setting in Texas. The ideal candidate should have at least 18 months of recent Med/Tele experience , along with strong communication and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Med/Telemetry patients.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
- Perform cardiac rhythm monitoring and recognize abnormal rhythms.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Assess patients and implement individualized care plans.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Manage multiple patient-care priorities efficiently.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.
Required Certifications
- BLS – American Heart Association (AHA) – Required
Must-Have Experience & Skills
- 18+ months of recent Med/Telemetry experience – Required
- Strong Telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Experience
- Rural hospital experience – Preferred
