As a hospice RN you manage symptoms, support families, and coordinate with physicians, social workers, and chaplains—often on PRN or part-time weekend and on-call schedules with 8-hour Saturday–Sunday shifts. STNA roles are listed full-time Monday through Friday. The bar is experience-first: STNA postings ask for a year of prior hospice or palliative care, and RN roles want a valid Ohio license plus at least a year of nursing, preferably in hospice or palliative care.
