Calvary Hospital

Founded in 1899 by a small group of widows in New York inspired by the Women of Calvary in France, the hospital began by caring for destitute women with terminal diseases in Greenwich Village brownstones. Today, with nearly 120 years of continuous service, Calvary maintains the same mission it was founded upon, providing medical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial care in collaboration with patients' families.
