That long-tenured nurse also said other employers sometimes pay more, and felt the work environment made up for it. Years earlier, the short-tenured reviewer felt leaders were uncaring about staff concerns. Carlisle is talked about as a small town with housing that costs less than many Pennsylvania places, parks close by, and a cost of living a little under the national level. Expect growing traffic, limited big-box shopping, and four seasons that do not always behave.
