More about JPS Health Network

The system is mid-build: groundbreaking is already done on a new inpatient hospital that is planned to push capacity above 740 beds around 2030, with ED, trauma, surgical, high-level maternal, and NICU space in the design. A Psychiatric Emergency Center and other campus pieces are already open. If you are new to practice, the JPS Nurse Residency Program is ANCC Practice Transition accredited with distinction. Three cohorts run each year; you apply in a short window, then interview on-site for your top two specialties across settings that include Critical Care, ED, Labor & Delivery, NICU, OR, Oncology, Step Down, and Behavioral Health. Tuition reimbursement, health and retirement benefits, PTO, and an employee clinic are part of the package. On the floor, nurses talk about a family-like team and a real community-service mission. They also talk about high patient volume, limited PTO, and uneven support for long-term career pathways. Charting runs on Epic. Sign-on, relocation help, and shift differentials have been offered to RNs in the past, though current dollar amounts are not spelled out here.

Mission: Transforming healthcare delivery for the communities we serve. Values: Trust, Mutual Respect, Excellence, Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork.
