The work is extended recovery—patients who need a longer hospital-level stay—rather than a quick med-surg turn. As an RN here you plan and deliver direct and indirect care, and you build the plan with the patient, family, and the rest of the interdisciplinary team. The hospital is part of ScionHealth / Kindred’s specialty hospital group and accepts Medicare and Medicaid. Hiring posts over the years have called for RNs in ICU, Med-Surg, and Tele as well as the core LTAC work. The facility has also put its own RNs forward for Kindred’s internal Paul Diaz Caring Award. What you will not find yet is a stack of nurse reviews online; the public allnurses page for this building still has none. Pay figures from the employer are thin in what we can see, and an old 2019 social post about a $1,000 sign-on should not be treated as current.
