Travel RN - Telemetry

Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Aug 31, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring WA or compact RN license and prior telemetry/dysrhythmia management experience.

• Work in the Cardiac Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
• Cardiac and CVA patient population with a 1:4-5 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 3x

• 12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM

• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating may be required within the hospital based on patient care needs
• No block schedule requests permitted
• Requirements
• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current

certifications

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required, 3 years preferred with strong cardiac and CVA background Epic EMR experience required Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central/peripheral line care experience Previous charge nurse experience preferred Additional Information Provide cardiac telemetry monitoring and care for patients with dysrhythmias Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration Participate in required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler Travel pairs are accepted
