Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Amityville, NY Are you a clinical leader who thrives in Long-Term Care? At Massapequa Center Rehabilitation & Nursing, we aren't just a facility; we are a community. We are seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager to lead one of our LTC units. If you are a Registered Nurse who balances clinical excellence with a "people-first" leadership style, we want to help you build a rewarding career with us. Pay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour (Based on experience) The Role: Impact & Leadership As our RN Unit Manager, you will have full clinical and operational oversight of your LTC unit. You will: Drive Clinical Excellence: Manage patient care plans, oversee medication administration, and ensure all documentation meets the highest standards of accuracy. Lead & Mentor: Supervise and inspire your nursing team (LPNs and CNAs), fostering a culture of accountability and compassion. Ensure Compliance: Maintain a "survey-ready" unit by adhering to New York State Department of Health (DOH) regulations and HIPAA standards. Coordinate Care: Oversee admissions, discharge planning, and family communications to ensure a seamless resident experience. Optimize Operations: Utilize EMR systems to track resident progress and manage unit staffing to ensure optimal care delivery.

Requirements

  • Active New York State RN License
  • Active New York State RN License (Required)
  • Deep understanding of Long-Term Care regulations and geriatric nursing
  • Proven success in a supervisory role (Unit Manager, ADON, or Charge Nurse)
  • Proficiency in EMR documentation, infection control, and care planning
  • Dementia and Memory Care experience is a plus
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to solve problems calmly in a fast-paced environment
