We are seeking a caring and dedicated RN Supervisor to work the 11-7 Overnight shift at our skilled nursing facility in Amityville, NY!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to

The ideal candidate will oversee the total care and safety of all residents and employees for assigned unit during shift Supervises and assists all nursingpersonnel in their work performance when necessary Performs duties of Unit Nurse when necessary Document patient histories, administers medication and care as needed, coordinate necessary appointments Monitor residents to ensure that the plans are being followed and that the resident’s and family needs are being met Plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on all shifts on the assigned units

Minimum Qualifications include

  • Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in New York State
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a long-term health care setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Has knowledge of Federal and State health regulations
  • Experience with care plans and strong documentation skills
  • Flexibility in work hours
  • BLS Certification
  • RN License
