American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring 2+ years of PACU or critical care experience and AHA-issued ACLS certification.

Details

• Hospital-based PACU unit with 7 beds on the 1st floor

• Level 3 trauma center

• Post-op adult patient population

• Patient ratios follow ASPAN guidelines

• Uses Cerner EHR

• 4-10 hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM

• Every other weekend required, call only

• Call requirements apply

• Floating required per operational needs

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required

• AHA-issued ACLS certification required

• 2+ years of PACU and/or critical care experience required

• Associate's degree in nursing or higher required

• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Active licensure verification via Nursys required at time of consideration

• Copies of required certifications must be provided

Additional Information

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to adult surgical patients

• Must be flexible and team-oriented

• Scrub color determined by facility; no outside attire permitted

• Orientation held every 2nd and 4th Monday

• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Candidates who worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
