The Registered Nurse (RN) is primarily responsible for providing direct, quality clinical care and serves as a Team Leader to patient care staff. Key responsibilities include leading a team of direct care providers, utilizing the nursing process in delivering patient care, visiting residents daily to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status, identifying emergency situations and initiating lifesaving measures, and performing administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
