Job
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate On-Call RN to join our hospice team. The ideal candidate will provide after-hours support to hospice patients and families, responding promptly to calls, triaging needs, and making home visits as required to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
Provide on-call hospice nursing support during night hours. Conduct home visits for urgent patient needs, symptom management, or pronouncement of death. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure continuity of care. Document all patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner. Offer emotional and clinical support to patients and families in crisis situations.
Qualifications
Current, active RN license in the State of Texas. Minimum of one year of nursing experience (hospice or palliative care preferred). Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Compassionate communication and patient advocacy skills. Reliable transportation auto insurance and valid driver's license.
