Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements

Active RN license in California
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS preferred
Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in MedSurg/Telemetry required
Previous Epic EMR experience required
Travel RN experience required
LTAC experience preferred
2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
7-year work history verification required

Additional Information
Provides direct patient care, education, and care coordination for telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
Skills such as IV therapy, central/PICC line management, chest tube care, BiPAP/CPAP management, and wound care may be required depending on unit needs
Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans
Mentors and orients newly hired staff as needed
Must reside within a 50-mile radius to be eligible for local candidate rate
Local candidates accepted at local rate
Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
