American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift role requiring a CA RN license, Epic experience, and at least one year of relevant acute care experience.

Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
Cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (1900-0730), Sunday-Saturday rotation
Weekend coverage required
Floating required
Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
Active CA RN license required in-hand (EMSA not accepted)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required in-hand
CPI Blue Card preferred (online or MAB certification not accepted)
Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience required
At least 1 year full-time equivalent experience in telemetry within the past 2 years
Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history
Two supervisor references required, one within the last year from the specific unit

Additional Information
Provide telemetry nursing care including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and use of rapid response/code teams
Skilled in IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, and blood product administration
Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and tracheostomy management preferred
Familiarity with neurological and post-surgical care, including CVA, TBI, and post-neurosurgery monitoring preferred

Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered for a new assignment
No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment; max 7 days RTO per 13-week contract preferred
All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and cannot be changed later
Manager interview may or may not be conducted prior to placement
