Assistant Director of Faculty Practice Nursing Operations

The Assistant Director of Faculty Practice Nursing Operations supports the Director of Faculty Practice Nursing Operations in the oversight and coordination of ambulatory nursing operations across Faculty Practice sites. The Assistant Director collaborates with nursing leadership, practice administration, providers, and operational teams to ensure the delivery of high quality, patient-centered care in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. The Assistant Director assists in the implementation of strategic initiatives, operational priorities, workforce planning, clinical quality improvement activities, and standardization efforts across Faculty Practice locations.

This role serves as an operational and clinical resource to nursing leadership and staff and acts on behalf of the Director as delegated. The Assistant Director partners closely with the nurse supervisors to support operational consistency, nursing practice standards, patient access, workforce optimization, and care delivery initiatives throughout the Faculty Practice. This role supports the Faculty Practice nursing leadership structure and contributes to the achievement of organizational goals related to patient care, access, quality, experience, workforce engagement, and operational performance.
