What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a key role in promoting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents while leading and supporting nursing staff.
Responsibilities include
- Supervising direct resident care and nursing personnel during assigned shifts
- Providing hands-on clinical care as needed
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments
- Monitoring resident conditions and communicating changes to physicians and families
- Making rounds to ensure quality care in a safe, clean environment
- Assisting with development and implementation of care plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation and medical records
- Responding to resident emergency call systems
- Promoting restorative care and resident independence
- Participating in training, education, and professional development opportunities
- Ensuring proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies
Participating in on-call responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Connecticut (or valid multistate/compact license)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
