About this role
The staff nurse is a professional nurse who, with minimal supervision, is responsible for providing nursing care to patients. Patient care includes assessment, interventions, and reassessments of the patient. The nurse is also responsible for planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating care of patients/caregivers. The Imaging Sedation Nurse will prepare, monitor, and recover patients requiring sedation for CT and MRI at Children's South and will also work at the main campus to screen sedation patients by phone and assist in all areas of Imaging as needed.

Requirements
- RN
- Compact RN License
- Current RN license in the State of Alabama or NLC Multi State
- Current BLS certification
- PALS certification preferred
- Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience
