About this role
3N is a 30-bed adult psych inpatient unit, located on the third floor of the Northside of the Institute of Psychiatry building. All patient rooms are semiprivate & serve adult patients (18 yrs. & over) admitted for acute crisis stabilization for a broad range of mental illness, including major depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and more. Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) assists at the advanced beginner level in providing individualized, goal directed nursing care to patients and families utilizing principles and practices of the nursing process; interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
