Registered Nurse - Department: Emergency. Our Chelsea Emergency Department has experienced physicians and nurses with advanced training in emergency medicine that provide care 365 days a year in the 24-hour Emergency Department. More than 18,000 patients are treated each year for emergencies ranging from life threatening cardiac arrests and strokes, to major injuries and accidents, to more minor injuries. The Registered Nurse provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. Shift Available: 5pm-5am. Status Available: Part time, benefit eligible (48 hours per pay period – every two weeks). Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required.

Requirements

  • Current Michigan Nursing License
  • Graduation from accredited nursing program
  • Experienced nurses preferred
  • New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
  • Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply
  • 12 hour Night Shift (5pm-5am)
  • Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required
