About this role
As a Registered Nurse on our Renal Transplant Unit, you will provide care to chronically ill patients recovering from kidney transplant procedures and other complex conditions and treatment plans. This is a fast-paced high acuity unit that is growing due to continued success of our Kidney Transplant Services that continues to increase our number of kidney transplants each year. Shift: Part Time Nights
- 12 hour shifts. This position is a weekend work position. It works 2- 12 hour weekends shifts 6:45 pm until 7:15 am and is paid at time and a half.
Responsibilities
Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines.
