Psychiatric MSN- RN Houston/Dallas Nurse Executive

• Provide oversight to newly opened psychiatric facilities from a DON or Administrator standpoint.

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status and document findings accurately in medical records.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.

• Ensure that all medical documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in nursing care.

• Must work well with community care partners and facilitate positive relationships within the community.

Experience

• A valid nursing license is required.

• Previous experience in a psychiatric setting is required.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care practices is essential.

• Familiarity with medical documentation processes and HIPAA compliance is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.

• Requires a MSN or higher

• Must be able to travel 80-90% of the time.
