Schedule
Monday–Friday | School-Day Hours
Per Diem Pay: $40-45/hr
We are looking for Substitute School Nurse (Per-Diem) for one of our schools in Wilmington, Delaware (New Castle County, DE, Kent County, DE).
As a School Nurse, you will play an essential role in promoting student health and well-being. You'll provide direct nursing care, manage student health concerns, administer medications, and collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and school staff to help students remain healthy and successful in the classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license meeting the State of Delaware School Nurse requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
- Pediatric or School Nursing experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency with electronic documentation and Microsoft Office applications.
- Hospital, pediatric, and clinical nurses looking to transition into school nursing are encouraged to apply. Previous school nursing experience is not required.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
