Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and proper documentation
- Conduct bedside assessments, monitor patient vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other specialized services as needed
- Monitor and maintain patient records, including medication administration records and care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records of patient outcomes
