Job Description
The Medical-Surgical Orthopedic Unit is a newly renovated, 20-bed unit supporting an active elective orthopedic surgery program. The unit provides a diverse patient population with a combination of medical, surgical, and orthopedic joint replacement patients.
As an RN on our Medical-Surgical Orthopedic Unit, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care while working collaboratively with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
As an RN, you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

- 12 Hour Shifts, 7pm - 730am, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Sign on bonus: $7500.00

Qualifications
Education/experience required
BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Certifications/Licensures Required
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS).
