About this role

Provide and coordinate independent care to patients within a clinical specialty as a fully effective and participative member of the multidisciplinary patient care services team. This job commitment is 96 hours within each four (4) week scheduling period, which includes four (4) 12-hour weekend shifts. It also includes one (1) summer holiday and one (1) winter holiday per calendar year.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligible to practice via Compact state agreements
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • Associate degree in nursing
  • Maintenance of ten (10) contact hours of continuing education every two (2) years
  • Unit-based licensure as required (NRP, STABLE, ACLS, Trauma 101, etc.)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in a specific specialty such as critical care, med/surg, or pediatrics preferred
