*Orientation Dates:* March 3rd and March 17th, 2026 (3 openings)
We’re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with psychiatric experience to join our team at a state-run psychiatric facility in Pueblo, CO. This 24-week assignment is a great fit for nurses who thrive in dynamic, team-based environments with a focus on behavioral health and patient safety.

Compensation
* *Travel LPN:*
- $27/hour + $1,000 weekly travel stipend (tax-free)
- Estimated weekly pay: $1,972
- Double time for overtime hours
*Local LPN:*
- $47/hour (fully taxed)
- Estimated weekly pay: $1,800
- Overtime paid at 1.5x base
*Schedule Details:*
- Full-time contract, 12-hour shifts
- *Day Shift:* 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- *Night Shift:* 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Flexibility to work across units is *non-negotiable*
- Overtime offered as needed

Responsibilities
*
- Provide direct care and treatment to individuals with acute psychiatric and co-occurring medical conditions
- Assist in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and therapeutic support for patient safety
- Monitor patient progress and contribute to care planning
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards

Requirements

- 1–2 years of psychiatric nursing experience in a hospital or state-run setting
- Active Compact or Colorado LPN license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as assigned

- Previous contractors at this facility may now be eligible for rehire, depending on prior assignment history and facility needs
