We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse or Social Worker - UR/Intake Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role is crucial in ensuring that new patients receive a thorough assessment and seamless transition into our care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Experience in various nursing specialties is highly valued, as you will be working with diverse patient populations. The position is Full Time working 8:00AM- 8:30PM Onsite (3 12's) and includes every other Saturday.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) or LMSW licensure in the state of practice
Experience in acute care settings, psychiatric hospital, or long-term care preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical documentation practices
Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize changes in patient conditions promptly
Previous experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics
Knowledge of pain management techniques, infection control practices, and behavioral health considerations
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Behavioral health hospital experience
