Stephens Hospital Nursing Req #: 87025. Are you looking for a varying per diem night shift role where every shift challenges your skills, strengthens your clinical expertise, and gives you the opportunity to make an immediate impact? Join the Emergency Department team at Stephens Hospital as a full-time, 36-hour night shift Registered Nurse and become part of a highly collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional care when patients need it most. The Stephens Hospital Emergency Department provides care to patients of all ages with a wide variety of medical, surgical, orthopedic, behavioral health, and traumatic conditions. As an Emergency Department RN, you'll work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, communication, and critical thinking are essential. The MH Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
  • One year of recent RN experience required
  • Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines
