- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Training and supervise ALL Personal Care Assistant within the company.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care coordination.
- Stay current with best practices in nursing through continued education and training.
*Requirements*
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in acute care, critical care, or specialized nursing fields such as pediatrics or geriatrics is preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) for effective patient documentation.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control practices, and medication administration protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Experience with patient populations including those with developmental disabilities or chronic illnesses is a plus.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are beneficial.
