Are you an experienced RN looking for a PRN opportunity that lets you use your clinical skills without adding nights, weekends, holidays, or call?

Image Guided Solutions of Missouri (IGS), an affiliate practice of Columbia Orthopaedic Group, is looking for a PRN Sedation RN to support our procedural team on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays . This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys procedural care and is looking to pick up a consistent weekday shift.

Working alongside our interventional radiologist and procedural team, you will provide nursing care for patients undergoing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. Responsibilities include:

  • Completing pre-procedure assessments and preparing patients for procedures
  • Starting IVs and administering medications as ordered
  • Administering and monitoring moderate sedation
  • Monitoring airway status, vital signs, and patient response throughout procedures
  • Providing post-procedure recovery and discharge care
  • Educating patients and families before and after procedures
  • Accurately documenting sedation and nursing care in the electronic health record
  • Responding appropriately to changes in patient condition or emergency situations
  • Helping maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-focused procedural environment

Procedures may include embolization, peripheral vascular interventions, venous procedures, vertebral augmentation, and other minimally invasive treatments.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Missouri RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment

Preferred

  • Two or more years of nursing experience in interventional radiology, cath lab, PACU, ICU, emergency medicine, perioperative nursing, or another procedural setting
  • Previous moderate sedation experience
  • Strong IV skills
  • Experience recovering patients following sedation

Schedule

This is a PRN position with our primary need on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays during daytime hours . Candidates who are consistently available for one or both of these days are encouraged to apply.
