About this role

East Houston is seeking a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse with Operating Room / perioperative experience to join our surgical services team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality care to surgical patients across the lifespan — pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric — throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of care. You will serve as the patient's advocate in the operating room, coordinate with the surgical team, and help maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient environment for every case.

Requirements

  • RN
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN)
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Prior operating room / perioperative experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and position patients
  • RN License
  • BSN degree (preferred)
  • CNOR certification (preferred)
  • ACLS and/or PALS certification (preferred)
