13-week night shift assignment in the Pediatric ICU
Night shift (3x12 hours), 19:00-07:00, on a 36 or 48 hour schedule
1:2 patient ratio
May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
3 weekends required per six-week schedule
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information
Care for critically ill pediatric patients including respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, neurologic, and gastrointestinal support needs
Skills may include ventilator management, arterial line management, CRRT, ICP monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias
Up to 40 hours of RTO may be approved per 13-week contract, with no additional time off approved after offer acceptance
Time off cannot be approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract
Must float within scope of practice as needed based on facility staffing requirements
Previous UVA Health permanent staff or travelers must have a 1-year separation and leadership approval before returning
External travelers may not exceed 365 total assignment days
