What You’ll Do
As a Preoperative RN, you’ll assess patients before surgery, ensuring they’re fully prepared for their procedures. Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, answering any questions and providing reassurance. Monitor patients’ vitals, review medical histories, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and safe experience. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing. Current RN license in Tennessee. BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of recent preoperative, PreOp or PACU experience. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated stability and longevity in previous roles, with a history of long-term commitment and progression in past positions.
