Correctional Facility
Responsibilities
- Taking vital signs of patients.
- Provide COVID-19 vaccinations and administer medication
- Diagnose and treat heath issues
- Perform health assessments to identify new symptoms of possibly undiagnosed conditions or complications
- Work alongside MD to determine best course of treatment for patients
- Triage patients
- Teach and counsel patients about maintenance of health and prevention of illness or complications
- Pull charts for next day clinics.
- Set up for nurses' sick call
- Check medications and reorder as needed
- Inventory emergency bag as needed
- Complete all required documentation
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
- 1 year experience as an RN
- Willingness to work in a correctional facility
