About this role

Signature HealthCARE of Monteagle Rehab & Wellness Center is a 150-bed skilled and intermediate nursing facility providing a safe, secure environment for those in need of medical care, specializing in customized dementia and behavioral care for cognitively impaired residents. Looking for RN candidates who thrive on delivering excellent care, enjoy being part of a strong team and build bonds that last a lifetime. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care to residents including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures; assisting residents with ADLs; supervising and directing nursing assistants and medication aides; monitoring residents' physical and emotional status; developing and reviewing individualized resident care plans; completing clinical documentation; coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges; and participating in quality assurance activities.

Requirements

  • RN
  • Current, active RN license in the state of practice
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
  • Long-term care experience, preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred
  • Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
